Win and Giesel took seven (7) long years of waiting to finally be in a relationship. Win has a deep crush with Giesel since the year 2015 but Giesel declined his courtship several times. It was on Giesel's birthday last March 8, 2022 where their love story began. Win started the conversation by a late birthday greeting for Giesel in one of her social media accounts. Win always remembered Giesel's birthday even before because his birthday comes first (March 7). From there, Win consistently puts in the effort of pursuing Giesel even if they were miles apart. Giesel is staying in Manila while Win is in Bicol. Win also take-life while on his training just to meet and talk to Giesel. Fortunately, on August 20, 2022, Giesel said yes to be his girlfriend. They didn't know that having a long-distance relationship while being busy with their own career growth and families will actually work for them. Their love for each other grew as time passed and on Giesel's birthday again, last March 8, 2024, Win proposed a lifetime of love and partnership to Giesel.
