Our Love Story
Nakakainis! Sino ba tong feeling close na to? Andyan nanaman sya, mang aasar nanaman!" this is always Pam's sentiments and she couldn't help but feel annoyed every time she bumped into Christian. Their love story had innocently begun during those blissful and carefree days of college. It was amusing how Christian would persistently tease Pam about her ex, a habit that initially drew annoying glares from Pam as they were still strangers, not even knowing each other's names. Despite Pam's not-so-good first impression of Christian, she couldn't help but admit, "Pero in fairness...chinito cutie sya".
Finally, it was 1st year summer class, when Christian took the courage to get Pam's phone number from their common friend. Yet, Christian wasn't satisfied with just obtaining Pam's contact details. He took a bold step by formally talking to Pam for the first time, explaining how he's able to get her phone number through her friend. From a mere stranger, they were able to know each other's names, and then, the Millennial ligaw started. Christian calls-Pam answers, they will both register to unli call and text and do pasaload if one doesn't have a load, they will stay up late all night texting and calling each other, meet in the campus during breaks and after class. It was full of joy, excitement and kilig during their first dates.
But of course, their love story unfolded not merely in moments of happiness, but also in the midst of heartaches and trials, marked by the immaturity of youth. They both strayed, deceived, and caused each other's pain, until a pivotal moment when they realized the depth of their feelings and how much they meant for each other. Gradually, they began to change for the better, eventually centering their relationship around their faith in God.
With God at the center of their lives, they confronted formidable challenges together. After they successfully navigated through college, they embarked on careers with conflicting schedules, chose to live together at a young age, went to LDR, Pam was diagnosed with PCOS and then Christian was tested positive for Covid in Taiwan. Yet, what makes this couple really admirable is their unwavering commitment anchored by faith. Their journey is a tapestry of imperfections woven into a perfect harmony.
Then atlas, the long wait is finally over! Christian finished his 6 years contract in Taiwan. Through it all, their unconditional love remained steadfast, and they emerged stronger together.
Since their college days, Christian and Pam have been devout followers of the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag. Over the years, their faith and love for each other grew stronger, intertwined with their deep devotion to Mama Mary. Christian held onto a promise he made long ago, that, one day, he would marry Pam before Her altar. Now, his promise is fast approaching. This wonderful couple is resolute in fulfilling their vows, knowing that their journey together, guided by faith, hope, and love with God at the center of their relationship, will lead them to their momentous wedding very soon.
"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. "
1 John 4:8

a monetary gift is one we suggest.
