How do I get to Florence (Santa Maria Novella) from Rome?

By train: Go to Roma Termini Station, purchase a ticket at their designated booths or machines (or this can be purchased online days before your scheduled departure). Choose a time and look for your platform number. The ride would take around 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours.
